The trouble started a month or so ago, but I'm not sure exactly when. The problems are:
- In one user account, the Finder's "Connect to server" does not work. It will connct to the server, but when you choose the drive you want to connnect to it freezes
- In the same account, the Classic Environment does not work at all.
The account is an administrator account, so there aren't any permission problems or anything. However, I have repaired permissions, and I went through the user's home folder and deleted weird preference-type things that weren't being used. Nothing changed.
An ideas?

Try removing the contents of ~/Library/Recent Servers/
Log out and in again and see if it helped.
Edit: Also, please try to be a *little* bit more descriptive in your thread titles.

You said that it happens in one specific account, right? Well, the alternative you have is to migrate your files to a different user. I know, it's a pain, but at least that way you'll get rid of whatever corruption you're experiencing.
