So, Jack Spade has decided that the following new products are worth making, and selling...

1.) Frog Dissection Kit (pricing not available):

This new kit comes complete with all the tools you would need to dissect the vacuum-sealed formaldehyde treated frog, a tray, and a guide to help you identify your handiwork.

(Availabe in-store only unfortunately from Jack Spade New York's store)

2.) Rat iPod Cases ($55):

Works with regular iPod and iPod nano's. This handknitted case can hold an iPod, phone, or camera. Simply pull on the tail to secure closure.

3.) Leather Matchbook Covers ($10):

Comes with Japanese book of matches (sulpher strip on front of book). Foil stamped "FIRE" on front of leather cover.

It's Kate Spade's husband.

The dude's a bit of a poseur. He was a shown on the PBS|Frontline show "The Persuaders" as a marketing/branding consultant to the (at the time) new (and I believe now defunct) discount airline Song--pretty amusing.

Is this guy the Paris Hilton of the Design world or what? His stuff is pure crap. Is he one of those people who thinks just because everyone else hates it, that automatically makes it hot design?

Blech!

Jack Spade messenger bags are incredible; however, I'm not fond of anything else I've ever seen.

For the record, Jack Spade is a fictional name, but some of the designs have indeed come from Kate Spades husband whos name is Andy Spade.

That's right it is Andy. He is on the PBS documentary. Sorry for the confusion.

Hehe. Song crashed and burned. The persuaders were the most hilarious look at advertising since the "Truth in advertising" videos.
