Here's the setting:

1 Full stack Bar
50+ Jell-O /vodka shots
Three Cases of Beer (one being of Guinness)
Over 60 people (not including guest) confirmed. Half being women!
9 hrs of party music, wirelessly played through Air tunes.
Oh, and 1 Belly Dancer.

I can't wait to start the celebrations. Happy St. Patricks day to all!

Ps. I'll have the decent pics tomorrow or when I regain consciousness.

Ah to be young again.

Please post lots of pics so us old folks can live vicariously through you.

(One thing I won't miss are those dreaded "morning after" hangovers... that usually lasted 1-2 days...)

Purple Giant, why do all of your friends appear possessed? Every one has glowing red eyes!

It looks like a great party. As JustAnOl'Broad said, "party responsibly." Not only is it smarter, there will be more of you to have more parties later!

It seems our excessive drinking caused power outages in the US. Someone must have tripped on the power cable

Well just as long as you're aware of it. I wouldn't want this sort of thing to come as a surprise or anything.

What worries me far more than the obvious signs of possession (I wouldn't expect anything less from Ozzies) is the absence of Guinness. Since when is Heineken a proper drink to toast St. Paddy?

Heineken isn't a proper drink to toast to anything!

More pics please, but not from down under dudes in summer clothes - this is making me angry!

Oh gawd.

I just woke up from my celebrations.

Having an Irish last name somehow meant I got to stay in a lock-in till half three in the morning. No pics, 'cause I was that pissed I couldn't've told a camera from my own arse...

My teeth itch, that can't be right.

Oh well, 4 free pints of the black stuff and an inflatable pint (woohoo) made it quite a night (it's just the other 10 pints that are killing me).

I think I'll go back to crying into my cup o' tea. Can't wait till next year!
Just who are Britain? What do they? Who is them? And why?

Think that was my last nite off.
It's all good by me. I woke up late for work, so I had to rush out of the house, or in my case, stumble to work. My legs are hurting from the dancing... but over all, great time. The belly dancer was cool, she kept giving me looks... but by then, the beer bottle gave me looks.

The photos will have to wait till I get back to home, 9 hours from now. So, if anybody has other photos of their celebration, feel welcome to hijack the thread.

I'm daydreaming of pillows.

Yeah, I was pretty tired this morning too. The St Patty's celebration isn't over though. I have a St Patty's social to go to tonight at lambda chi alpha. Then there is a St Patty's party at sigma epsilon tomorrow(probably not going to anyway) and a party at theta chi. I plan on being irish this whole weekend.

Looking forward to more pictures. The above pictures indicates that a good time was had by all.

Here we go.

The DJ

The Receiver (behind the cough with monster cables attached).

Part of the old stash, the plan is renewed once again.

It all starts with one step forward.

Next thing you know, every one wants to join in.

Well, perhaps not all. There are others willing to watch.

I'm off to sleep for a few moments, then to the next bash.

Spring Break was Red, White and Blue: think it was the
cheapest beer I ever had.
The cheap stuff at home was Strohs, Rolling Rock, or
Old Milwaukee. A really good party had beer from
across the river in MD; higher alcohol.
Woohoo, those were the days.

Rolling Rock is actually pretty good stuff, IMO.
We used to get cases of 16-oz. bottles of Carling Black Label for $5. That was the fuel of many, many parties.
Ever had generic beer?
