Variable? Did you go 9 weeks without using the computer?
Because the "weekly" is that far off. I guess for the purpose
of these periodic tasks, it's not terribly serious. (Let's just
hope NASA isn't relying on launchd for anything critical).

My Mac is operating off and on (sleeping and not) throughout the day, always sleeping from about 10-11pm to 7am. Restarts for one reason or another an average of once every three weeks probably.
