All good here on a 300Mhz G3 B&W, iMac DV 400Mhz, iMac G4 FP 1Ghz and a 1.25Ghz 15" AluBook.

But I've never had any problems with any X update

Not a problem at all on my trusty old G4/650 smurf box
same as the previous 20 or so OS X updates
Personally I find it hilarious that you have the hots for my gramma. Especially seeins how she is 3x your age, and makes your Brittney-Spears-wannabe 30-something wife look like a rag doll who went thru WWIII with a burning stick of dynamite up her a** :)

no problems at all on my ibook 1.2ghz. only thing is that it downloaded like a bloated swine - so slow that i had to leave it running overnight. guess it was popular.

Do not know if this is a problem since all seems to be working well but since the 10.3.8 upgrade my system log is full of the following message:

powerbook kernel: AppleLMUController: setLEDFade - Fade to brightness level: 0x00000000

I am trying to figure out what the AppleLMUController is... any idea?

This is on a 15" ALU PB.

G5 iMac 1.8Ghz 17" and no problems. Using Shapeshifter and a bunch of other haxies. I never had any issues with 10.3.7 either. So there..

The fans are a bit quieter now it seems.
