Hi guys,
To this day I still cannot post a comment to a news story. Try as I may, the system sees me as logged in but offers no way to input a comment. I've read prior posts on this topic but the solutions offered are useless. I also read that this problem is being looked into....status?

We'll try to re-do that entire system ASAP. We've got lots on the go, so it has been hard to move this off the back burner .

Nick, that doesn't seem to have made a difference, in my case, at least -- I still can't post to the comments.

Take a look here, too:

Doesn't work on PCs either, just tried it on a Win2K machine with IE 6.0 and Mozilla 6, although it does work with Navigator 4.08. Must be something about the new age browser rendering, since old 4.x versions of Netscape seem to work fine on Macs and Peecees.

Alas disabling Login does not provide a solution; the system does not allow me to input text into the appropriate fields. Interstingly, if I use Netscape 4.78 under Classic, I can actually type text in the Subject/Message boxes....but no way of having the system "post" the comment as there is no "post" button available

Hop to it boys!!!!

Frank, if you click in the "Subject" line and hit [Return], it will post, when using Netscape 4.7x, even if you don't have a "post comments" button. It's kludgy, but it works, thanks to the relatively poor coding at work here.
