Hi, I want to get video from my VHS video camera onto my G4 tower, whats the most cost effective way of doing so, besides using a USB box (as far as I know they have very bad frame rate/resolution). I was very happy with the PCI TV tuner that came with my old mac, so a normal PCI tv tuner should do. Are there any available these days(the only I can find online are firewire or USB) and are any of them OSX compatable?

Most current DV cameras contain an Analogue to Digital converter that can do this for you, if you are thinking of replacing that VHS camera any time soon.
