i running macosx 1.0.4.6 and every so often loginwindow stop responding i heard removing itunes helper would reslove it i try this and it didn't
i use a wireless logitech keyboard and mouse the only time i can fix this is if i restart the mac using the power buttion as i can't seem to logout or turn the volume up or down using the logitech keys also system preferences stop responding when i go to loging iteams and im only running little snitch
unplugging and plugging in the the usb recivcer does not seem to help and i repair permissions reguarly so can't be that i don't allow the computer to sleep it goes to the screensaver
has anyone got any ideas as i serious would appericate more then 2 to 3 days uptime
I had a similar problem with a Logitech Bluetooth mouse. After a while loginwindow would hang, and the menu extras section of the menubar would beachball (I have FUS enabled).
Once I stopped using the BT mouse, the problem disappeared.
