Anyone else here with a Ti SD have a slightly jumpy trackpad that sometimes makes it hard to place the cursor exactly?
Do you think that this is worth calling Apple about? Might there be a known fix?

Can't you just adjust the speed of the mouse?

It might just be that your other fingers are touching the touch pad at the same time. I kind of noticed that when I tried out a PowerBook at a store.

If the top of your finger touches the lower edge of the trackpad as you click the cursor will jump all over...

I too thought mine was doing it, but trust me.... its likely user error... set your track pad to be also your double click function and use only one finger, it will go away overnite.

It could also be a bad trackpad... The trackpad in my Pismo occasionally gets like that to the point that if I just put my finger on it and don't move it the cursor will continuously jump around an inch or more with each jump.
