Got a brand new iBook and it's great, but got a little question about the screen.

When i push the back of the screen (the case) gently, distortion waves appear in de upper left corner of the screen. It's a area of 1,5 by 1,5 cm Is this normal or common with the 12" iBooks, or is there anything wrong with my little baby

Simple solution: Stop pushing it in.

Same thing here. It only happens in the upper-left hand corner. Using my iBook on the bus makes this happen too if the ride is bumpy. Maybe I should take it in?
I can hear the goose-steps getting closer.

Oke i spoke a guy who knew what causes the problem. The screen is fiited into a frame with screws, when this is done to tight the waves appear when you touch it. You could take it in and see if they wanna do the repair for free.

I'm having the same problem on a brand new iBook, and it happens only in the upper left corner. I think the best thing to do is return it to Apple for repair. Well that's if you can part with your laptop for about a week or so ...

I really don't think it's a problem. Both the 500mhz that I had and the 800mhz that I currently own do it. It's just a normal part of the design (Not intentional mind you, but not a real problem either).
