I've lost the restore/Hardware Test DVD that came with my 15" Aluminum PowerBook.

Or, rather, I left it at my parents' house in the US and had my mother ship it to me here in France and the package was lost in the mail.

Anyone have any idea how I might get another?

Sorry, but you should never have trusted the French post with important documents.
I'm from the government and I'm here to help

Well.....
The most obvious answer would be to call Apple....Would you not think so?

i have a similar problem as well. I was in a car accident and my car exploded which caused everything inside to burn, including my restore cd. I called apple today and they charge F*cking 37 bucks to replace it. This being a mac guy is getting way to expensive.

Did you think they'd give you a full OS install DVD for free? At least they didn't charge you for a full copy of Panther.

Advice: Make a backup copy of your recovery disk.
