Anyone who claims that they've got over 1,000 is a dirty liar. I got a 968 after practically 968 tries.

Dude, with all those land mines, I think even 2,000 is a perfectly plausible score.

why does my picture have smooth transition from foreground to background while the others have clear boundries between the colors?

JPEG vs. GIF.

Bah, I've tried tons of times and can't break 1000. How do you guys do it? Maybe I just suck at this game.

I just got 1017, but it took me a long time to get it. People who said "first try" are bluffing...completely. you don't have to be "good" at this game...it's purely luck.

The trick is to get a three land mines in a row without touching the ground.

It's not luck. There is a point in the game where if the penguin is hit at a certain height it will angle off too high and dive into the ground with NO BOUNCE. If you can hit the penguin at an angle just below that so that it does bounce then you have reached the maximum angle for bouncing. At least that's how I do it anyway.

That's a different version of the game. Try the link.

819 is the highest I can get. But I can only play 2 or 3 times at a sitting. I have such a horrible attention span.

Wow!

I got 1066.5 on my second try, and I swear I'm not bluffing!

I hit the penguin at about a 30 degree angle, and he landed right on a mine. Then he was boosted like a million feet in the air, and came down again...on another mine! This process repeated about five times. I guess I hit him just right. I was thinking, "What a lame game...do the mines like...following the penguin?" but after reading what you guys have been saying, it seems that I was just a lucky mofo .

I feel that it's stupid to post a screenshot, as it can be so easily Photoshopped.
