icon restoring

recently, i used shapeshifter to install icons... and then inadverantly installed a different set using candybar.
what has happened is, my default aqua set (tiger 10.4.1) has been set as a different set of icons. I want my old tiger icons back - how can i do this?

If the default icons are changed and you can't recover them, the closest replacement set I can think of is at http://www.railheaddesign.com/. You can then use Shapeshifter or Candybar to change them back, or change them all manually if you're really anal like me.
Otherwise, I can't think of anything else other than a reinstall. Perhaps others who are more experienced than me will have better suggestions?

i had the same problem in panther, but now when i upgrade to tiger (which will be soon) all the defalut icons will be restored, correct?

hmm I can't find any restoration files... does iconrestore work for tiger or panther?
