Hello. I've just had a few strange things happen on my macbook 2ghz. First my firefox extensions went awry which i've fixed- but now i keep getting "The volume for "Network" cannot be found" whenever I click on Network in the Finder sidebar. I've done a little searching suggesting to remove the item and restart, and re-add it, and that worked (sort of) except my Windows shares were not being shown. I then reboot the macbook one more time, and the "network cannot be found" error happened again.

I 've tried repairing disk permissions, but that hasn't helped.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
