Do you have any dead pixels?
I'm considering picking one up tomorrow for my bedroom, I'm hoping that dead pixels are not a problem.

The one I saw at the Apple Store yesterday on display didn't seem to have any.

Yep, I have one. Practically dead center of the display. I tried to "massage" it out, but to no avail. It's not horrible, but I wish it wasn't there

I got one (a green pixel in the lower left corner). The strange thing is it wasn't there the first night. I ran PixelCheck and I'm pretty sure it was not there. Next day I noticed it.

Beside this single pixel this is quite amazing display. You will not be disappointed.

I have one (variable, sometimes red sometimes green)....3" from top, 3" from the right.....

doesn't really show up until I open some graphic image with very high contrast color (like black to white, red to blue).

Just got my 20" last Friday (2/28).

Have a single errant pixel, about 3 inches from the right side, and about five inches up from the bottom. It's dead in all colors except white, where it shows up pink.

Hardly noticable. It completely disappears in the photograph that is my wallpaper.

By the way: This is easily the best display I've ever used, bar none. From the moment I plugged it in, to now, I've been left speechless. Makes me want to buy a whole new desk just to hold it it's that stunning. You won't be disappointed.

I have one dead pixel. Can't massage it out. Brilliant white all the time.

Apart from that it is a beautiful screen. Worth every penny. Really.

I've got two monitors, and no dead pixels. And I agree with the quote above...in fact I did go out and buy a new desk to match mine.

I just bought a 17" Studio Display. Although it may not have the widescreen effect of the 20" and maybe its a little less bright, it still looks awesome next to my MDD. 20" is beyond my budget. Next purchase will be a new desk

Oh by the way....this display is SO bright that I have to use a very dark desktop picture AND turn the brightness down to 40-60% to avoid having "sore" eyes....

I have about 5 dead sub-color pixels. They aren't in prominent places and I probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't gone searching for them.

I keep thinking I've found a new dead pixel but then I dab the screen with a lens cleaning cloth and it disappears - the static electricity generated on the surface of LCD flat panels attracts little specks of dust!

I just bought a 20" display because my old CRT died in a spectacular way. I had three stuck pixels late last night but today I only have two, apparently one corrected itself. One of the two left is so hard to see unless I plaster my face against the screen I can't see it at all. The other one is red and isn't all that visible either. Overall I'm quite happy with the monitor. I highly reccomend this monitor to anyone who wants a high quality flat panel, and can spare the bucks. It's perfect for editing photos, something I do a lot. I have no regrets. At least I don't have to worry about this monitor catching on fire, ok so my crt didn't exactly catch of fire but it did come close. Lots of heat and the acrid smell of burning electronics.

I have a single dead pixel in the lower right hand corner of the display. Depending on the background it will either be a bright red spot or a dark black spot. Because of where the dead pixel is located, it doesn't bother me much.

My brother tried to massage several times it but it hasn't seemed to make much of a difference as the dead pixel is still there.

Even with the dead pixel the 20" is the best display I have ever owned. It was worth every cent. I used to have the original 15" lcd studio display which I liked quited a bit, but this monitor is in a whole other league.

I now wish some day the 23" can drop its price down to the 20" level....then I will get one and use my 20" as the "palette monitor"

It will be 2 years from now I think

Don't know if everyone agrees with me.

The pixel grids on both 22" and 23" are so clearly visible....22" is by far the worst.

I can clearly see those black pixel grids when open files with solid white color or soft gradient. This is very annoying because I will always see the grids before the image. I find this even more annoying than flickers in CRTs.

On the 20" I can barely see the grids. Which is a big plus

No dead pixels. I've had my monitor for only less than a week and continue to be amazed by it. It blows away my old CRT and my GigTi Book's LCD.

Just got mine Friday and Zero dead pixels here. I was afraid to check when I got it because I couldn't spot any in normal use and didn't want to make myself aware of any dead ones. I caved and dl'd a pixel checker and couldn't find a single one after scouring the screen for 15 minutes.

After a days use, I did find two, but I think they're considered stuck. (they do change, but not quite like the surrounding pixels. One is always a bit lighter(looks a little darker on white) and the other is a bit darker (and looks yellow on white)

What impresses me is how hard I had to look to find them. Under normal use they cannot even be seen.
