...Talk about your "Mac Mania"

I found this movie while looking at various .mac homepages. Apologies, if this has been mentioned before.

I don't know the size of the movie file, but it isn't for the broadband challenged.

Apple should just buy that from him as is and start airing it now. The musical sountrack is awesome.

Priceless.

Funny stuff. I kinda skipped through his 4 hour QT stream, but I got the idea. You could probably say that kid likes his G4.

I wonder what that FedEx guy was thinking when he delivered the G4...

bwhahaha, that was hilarious.

Watch at the end when he falls into the pool...he's wearing a new shirt. I guess daddy said that he couldn't fall into the pool wearing those dirty clothes.

But that beach house looks damn nice.

Funny, That kid does have it bad, but I remember how it was when I got my first brand new mac. I didn't film it but I think I was just as excited.

The film editing was pretty decent, with fade outs, cut ins, the music, pretty sharp at least compared to my abilities.

That was freakin hilarious. Apple should buy that clip and air it in 60 second increments during the superbowl...

edit: omg, just saw the matrix fight...this kid has got me laughing on Monday morning during work...

Hehe that was awesome...

You know the kid reminds me of M. Night Shyamalan and the movies he used to make when he was a kid (you can see them on most of his DVDs).

The kids got a good artistic eye! The slow-mo scenes looked quite impressive. Not to mention that his 'stuntmen' weren't afraid to take a few spills. Bravo. =D

The movie was a little long, but the music was PERFECTLY cued during the 'Waiting for Fedex' scene. Nice job.

Awesome.

Captured the excitement of getting a new mac, and showed off what you can do with most macs - out of the box!

Someone should email that kid and tell him we all watched his movies.

Fedex music, the matrix movie...

hilarious

Its amazing what a kid can do when he has some intelligence and a wacky interest. Those movies were actually quite cool. I'm impressed!

They don't have much to do all day. Either play games or watch TV. Homework only takes an hour or so. Reminds me of myself when I was about his age; spent hours in front of my IIc+ coding BASIC for fun. Those were the days!

Funny thing is this inspiration doesn't work for everyone. I bought my little brother an iMac when he was 13, hasn't seem to do much. Sure he spends a lot playing games (the Sims of all things) but he has also corrupted the OS X 3 times! (or so he says, having to reinstall).

My little brother, on the other hand, had mastered Duke Nukem by 5! Yeah, weird. He would ask me to do something and if I took too long he would say "What are you waiting for, Christmas?" Used to crack me up!

Anyone else have child tech prodigy stories?

He does have it pretty bad. I wish I'd gotten *my* own mac when i was still that young and before i had the youthfulness and energy stolen from me by college. heh.

WOW! Im the kid everyone has been talking about on this thread. I didn't know by getting a mac and joining teh mac community that I could make suchn a riot. It is a tru honor to actually now be noticed as a mac enthusiast and a film maker. I am trying to make all my friends get macs. We all make movies together and this would help cuz we could all edit with final cut pro 4 and work together as a team. About the first mac video.... THat was the first video I ever edited on my mac and it was only 1 hour after i actually put the damn thing on my desk so, that is why it sux so bad. Also, the matrix movie was made all just because me and my friends were bored that sat. afternoon. We are making a matrix inspired movie soon and it should be out by the end of the summer. It will actually have a story that ties in with waking up out of the matrix kind of like "kid story" in the animatrix (if any of you have seen that). Well, i have to leave the house now, but ill reply again later. Thanx for showing so much interest in my work. This is the kind of thing that makes me feel like getting a mac was worth it. THat and the fact that the mac OS is teh best EVER! (Cant wait for Panther). Well, thanx again, IM me sometime with iChat and we could maybe do a video chat!!! (my screen name: Ptpiz)

Yeah keep it up Pizza- the Matrix film's got some great stuff in it. I saw it like a month ago and still remember the slow-mo parts (especially the punch in the face).

Good stuff, and funny as hell.

While being from Mexico is not an insult, an American (I assume) using it derogatorily is. It carries plenty of negative connotations.

Perhaps among adults and friends the joke may pass. Telling it to some kid you don't know is insulting. Ender2002 should delete his post.

Also, if he is not an idiot for posting that comment, he is certanly an idiot for quoting an entire post unnecessarily.
