Back when the G4 Yikes! model came out, I bought a brand new Apple Studio Display like this one. Will this be able to plug directly into one of the new G5s? Or will I need to buy an adaptor?

You'll need a DVI-VGA converter (since the G5s will only have DVI and ADC). I don't know if they come with the G5, but I remember hearing somewhere that they do. Can't say for sure, though. One came with my Radeon 9000it's a little thing. If it doesn't come with the G5, you can pick one up for real cheap, I'm sure.

Apple sells them for around $18, so picking one up in the store shouldnt be that much at all.

Thanks, everyone! Between your posts and my trips to Wikipedia, it all makes perfect sense to me. Before today I didn't really know much at all about DVI, VGA, or ADC.
