Kingdom of Loathing
Have any of you tried out this online RPG? It definitely reminds me of Legend of the Red Dragon which swept BBSes way back when. I created a character, yesterday, and it seems pretty neat. The stickfigure art is pretty great and the game itself is quite funny.

been playing for a few months now. to give people a better idea of what it's like, here's a brief rundown of some game facts:
-everything is crudely drawn.
-you use meat as currency.
-new items can be combined by 'meatsmithing' items together.
-making cocktails and tasty food (burritos, ramen, etc..) are an important part of the game.
-your character has a sobriety stat.
-it's funny.
i recommend it.

Haha! These guys also have an internet radio station! Radio KoL. They keep talking about millions of pieces of meat giveaways on the air. I love it!

interesting, didn't know about the radio show.
once any of you get up to level 7 (i think) you can join a clan. i have one if anybody is interested. many benefits for belonging: more meat per day, new ways of leveling up, easy item exchange, etc..
