Anyone know if the new $100 rebate would be good on the on sale RevA iMac G5s? The mid level 17" with the Superdrive would seem quite a deal at $999-$100 for the rebate. What do you guys think? Or is the new revision woth an extra $400?

It should work. You might have to check with Apple but it should work. Also the rebate is for students not educators.

Actually, if you read the FAQ on the offer http://education.apple.com/students/go/save/faq.php you'll see that it does include educators as well as students

Cool thanks for the info. My parents need a new Mac. The old iMac 233MHz isn't cutting it for my mom with her pictures and scanning, it's just too slow for that. Both of them are teachers, I'll let them know. Thanks again.
