Can someone help me with what I am certain is a simple problem. I have a Word Document that was sent to me. The document has a background image. When I view the document, it looks perfect in print layout. Unfortunately when it actually prints the background image appears to change in size, such that only the top 1/5th of the image appears (yet the top 1/5th of the image take up the entire page). When I save as PDF, it also saves with this warped image. Can anyone tell me how to get this image to print as I see it in Print Layout?
These screen shots demonstrate what I talking about
:
This is a window shot of the document in Print Layout in Word 2008. Notice the Background is of an ocean sunset.
Below is what the PDF looks like, which is what the above Words document looks like when I send it to a printer.
The document was sent to me by email, so I don't even know how the background image was inserted into word. But it is definitely a background image because the background won't print unless I select "Print Background Colors and Images" from the Print section of the Preference in Word. Also it appears as the background for each page of the document (I added some page breaks, and addition text to confirm this)
Any help figuring out how I can get my printed copy to look like it does on Print Layout would be appreciated.
Peace,
