Hey dudes and dudettes,
Just thought I would share with everyone the nice artwork a mate of mine has rocked on my cast.
For the writer heads out there is was done by Unique.

Had some good feedback from cute and not so cute girls even a granny saying she loved it.

Let me know what you think

thats awesome!

I've always wanted to see casts tagged and stuff, finally someone realized my dream and did it. dont let it get ruined by signatures though.

Looks great!

That's a fiberglas cast, right? The last one I had was plaster-I HATE plaster casts. Heavy, easily damaged by water, get smelly. YUCK. I think fiberglas is THE way to go--but I'm not going to hurt myself again just to confirm my suspicion.

no air brush the blue is spray paint, the guy who did it is really skilled with a can. The rest was done with paint pens.

yep the purple is the fiber glass cast. It' been winter/spring so I am very happy about the lack of itchyness and smell. I have two weeks to go!

I got the cast as some may remember my post about compress fracturing my elbow about 10 weeks ago. The doctors thought I had only sprained my wrist so I had the arm in a sling for 6 weeks. Went back after that and had another xray, the eblow was cool but a bone under my thumb was also fractured that was missed earlier which meant I had to have a cast. So after 10 weeks I still have 2 to go!

I was on my byscycle on the way to work in the morning going through a park like I normally do on the path when to dog ran out infront of me. Slammed on the brakes and I went over the handle bars. I hit both dogs but the were ok so was the bike, but I was travelling quite fast down a little hill.

I'm 27 and this is my first cast so I thought I needed to go all out

Thanks for all the posts guys
