The Updates on DL2 Beta are very fast and I think the biggest Bugs are gone.
If everything runs smooth for Wil, I am sure he will release it in 3-4 Weeks.
Maybe DeliciousTerry has more internal insight than me as a Beta tester ;-)

I've filed several "showstopper" bugs — integral features that don't work at all — that have yet to be fixed.

Oh come on - just because someone says there are "show stopper" bugs doesn't mean that there really are. Horsepoo - if you're really that frustrated with this development cycle, you should consider a competing product or workflow. As I recall, Will has always said he'd give money back to anyone not happy with the product.

Hi,
The big issue is not really about he-said-you-said-I-said.
It's about the tangible lack of information coming out of DM.
I respectfully suggest that regular updates on the progress of DL2 should be forthcoming.
Even if the news is "more delay", that would be better than this frustrating silence.
We're all customers or potential customers after all.....

As of yesterday at about 5pm, we opened up the store to our beta testers (and Twitter followers) to test the upgrade/purchasing process. The goal was and is, to make sure the new license generator works and to make sure all the financial transactions function appropriately. So far, everything is running smoothly.
We're almost there!!
