Opera Mini is fantastic. I would use it but it needs the "internet" GPRS profile and my service provider only gives me the "wap" profile by defauly - and as it's a company phone I can't get the internet profile added.

It's ok, but I was hoping for more. I just downloaded it to my Blackberry and I actually think I prefer the build in browser.

...and i read it on my Treo 650, also with Opera.
The integrated proxy makes Opera much faster than the built-in Blazer browser. I only wish it could be registered as a browser, so URLs in emails and SMSs would launch Opera...

Gimme a break. I bet none of us have pants on. I'm posting this using my K750i in the park, and I'm just wearing chaps.

You’re only wearing chaps? I’d look out for people with guns, in that case.

Oh, yeah, well I guess I don't consider the AK and the bandolier something I wear. I'll be fine.

Anyway, I'm back home now, and have changed into my far-less-formal tutu.

There are plenty of free java msn messengers for the K750i (and other phones of course). Problem is you have to have it open all the time

I downloaded Opera Mini but can't get it to work, it does the initial test then tells me it cant make a connection to the internet, the built in browser works fine (I'm on O2 Pay and Go in the UK). I read up a little and found that I am supposed to have an internet setting on the phone, and a WAP setting won't work. Sony Ericsson and O2 sites only have WAP setting downloads.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

I'd be surprised if you could get full internet with a pre-paid plan, but try searching or posting on http://www.howardforums.com to get that all sorted out.

Then come back here and talk about your pants[-lessness]
