Too bad I’m spending all that money building another PC this fall. And also that I don’t want the first generation ARMac anyway, because that never turns out well, but still - good to see that the pandemic didn’t derail this.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

I’m worried about OpenGL support. Minecraft is of if the few games I’d like to be able to play on a Mac again.

Not a problem, just run the iOS version.

(It seems OpenGL support will be froze at version 3.3 or whatever it is MacOS supports today.)

AFAIK OpenGL has been deprecated for years, and every WWDC I'm looking for the announcement that Apple will remove the API.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
