Does anyone know how to change the size of the font when viewing email in Mail.app? I've tried looking in the .plist file but I can't seem to find a way to change the font. It seems that you can only change the font for the email title listing. I use a high resolution monitor, and Monaco 10 is just too small for me. Any hacks would be appreciated.

In the meantime I found the solution.
The old OPENSTEP preferences NSFixedPitchFontSize, NSFontSize and NSSystemFontSize
still work with Mac OS X and so you only have to enter the following into terminal window to set the font size:

defaults write NSGlobalDomain NSFixedPitchFontSize 14
defaults write NSGlobalDomain NSFontSize 14
defaults write NSGlobalDomain NSSystemFontSize 14
