Media silent as Facebook removes page calling for murder of Mitt Romney

On Monday, Facebook removed a page advocating the murder of presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney, but the so-called "mainstream media" has largely remained silent about the page. Originally created on August 10, it prompted the creation of another page calling for its removal, The Blaze reported Monday.

Initially, Facebook told some who reported the page that it did not violate their terms of service.

The page, named "Kill Mitt Romney," was the brainchild of Staphmeal blogger Joshua Scott Albert, the Philly Post reported Monday. According to the Post, Scott also created a page supporting two alleged killers of a Philadelphia police officer.

The Post reported Monday that page, called "I Support Chancier McFarland & Rafael Jones," has been removed

The Lamestream Media is pathetic!

These damned Liberals are going to destroy the country many of you take for granted.

And then you'll blame Conservatives for the problem.

There are lots of reasons to bash the media, but not reporting the takedown of an attention whore's Facebook page isn't one of them.

What you call an "outrageous offense" I call an "attention whore's Facebook page".

I'm saying there's wisdom in not giving the attention whore attention.

But, you know good and gosh-darned well that if it had been done to SENATOR Obama it would have gotten big time coverage.

If it had been done to PRESIDENT Obama the Secret Service would have scooped the perp right up.

I have a feeling the Secret Service are going to have a "chat" with him.

Do you think it's a good idea to give attention whores like this attention?

I don't know why anyone would want to kill Romney. Had Bachman, Santorum or Perry won the nomination then I could understand wanting to get them out of the running, but someone has to run and its better if it isn't the utter loon.
I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

Did the MSM report on all of the calls for Obama's death? The Kill Obama Facebook group was active for a month.

There's a certain irony to asking that question in this thread

I think the results you found said more about your search skills rather than any Fox News bias.
