Through my own clumsiness I managed to damage the f12 key while using a towel to wipe down my MBP. Some how I managed the rip the key right off. I got it to go back on back it's damaged and doesn't really work. I plan to buy a replacement from powerbookmedic.com, but I need to know if my MBP has the rev a. or rev b. type keys. I am loathe to take another key off to verify this given my experience so far. Anybody know which one I need?

rev b I should say. This 'rev' part probably talks about whether you have a tightly spaced keyboard like the pre-unibody ones or the loose spaced like everything Apple nowadays. Although, I'm not 100% sure.

If you click the link in my post you'll see a pic showing rev a vs. rev b. Since the f12 key is half size, the distinction was a bit hard to tell for me. I took a chance and ordered a rev b.
