I was surprised to see two different commercials this evening?during primetime?for Apple's Music Store. How many PC users will complain when they learn of the limitations of the ACC format? At least, that's the information I thought I had heard?that it's currently exclusive to the Mac.
Cute commercials, none the less.

1) The end of the first paragraph states what my limited knowledge understood of the ACC format, that it currently is exclusive to Mac. To a PC user, I would assume they would see that as a limitation.
2) I don't know that these commercials are online. As I mentioned, they were viewed during primetime, which would imply that I saw them during a television broadcast. (NBC, Thursday night between 9 and 11 pm CST)

iTunes is being ported to Windows, but either way it's yet another incentive to use a mac.

I saw the Sir Mixalot one as well as the Get this Party started, within a 20 minute time period on MTV. The commercials were initially on the applemusic website, but were taken off for some reason.

Ahead software makes a pretty popular AAC(mpg4) codec.

Yeah the commercials are both in quicktime and music....
Frankly I *don't* like them. They remind me of switch commecials except they're wearing ipod headphones and singing crap (am I right at this)?

In a realm beyond site, the sky shines gold, not blue, there the Triforce's might makes mortal dreams come true.

I agree. The new Hershey commericals are complete ripoffs of the switch ads (people witha white background talking about how great chocoloate is).
Time for something new.

I thot the Pink one was interesting, if only because it was a black chick doing a real good imitation of a white chick doing a real good imitation of a black chick.
I appreciate the subtlety.
