hi all

ok a weird one. i was setting up an exchange email account on my 8gig 2.02 3g iphone and it asked my to put in a passcode.

the thing is in general settings i am missing:
'passcode lock'
'restrictions'
(seriously they are simply not there)

i also appear to be missing a couple of the reset options.

i did do a fair bit of google searching but i couldn't find anyone else with this oddness.

thanks in advance.

Try restarting the phone. If that doesn't work, you may have to do a restore.

That is weird. Other than a restart, I don't know what to suggest without having to restore the phone :/

yes, it really is weird. I did a backup and restore and nothing has changed.

still no capacity to add restrictions or set a passcode.

what's especially odd is i can't seem to find anyone else who has had this problem.

oh well...

Take it to the Apple store.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.
