I'm trying to network my wife's XP computer to my 10.4 sawtooth. I can't seem to get it to find the mac though. I haven't tried connecting to the PC from the Mac (yet). I've tried following any tutorial I could find. I'm confident the problem is one of the computers, because through the network, my wife's computer can see the my shared iTunes library from the mac.

Here's what I've done:
On the Mac:
-Turned on windows sharing
-made sure my user directory is shared

On the PC:
-tried connecting using "run" and typing in \\ipaddress
-tried accessing the ip address from explorer
-tried "Search for computers or people" with the IP address

any ideas on what's holding me back?

(This is really important, at the moment, my Wife's computer is the machine that has my BattleStar Galactica Episodes on it, and I want them on the mac! )
