Can't say I did. Actually, it was just something brought up randomly in conversation recently. The idea was to just name the kid Optimus and use Prime as his middle name. I thought it had a certain Enlightenment-era ring to it; could picture 'Optimus' as being the sort that would be into philosophy, mathematics, science, the arts, etc.
