For example:

Unfinished Sympathy-Massive Attack

I’ve always thought this song was awesome except I can't stand listening to it because of the annoying voice in the background.

Post your examples songs you would love if…

Songs that would be great if they didn't suck?

That's like saying, people who would be men if they weren't women . . . .

I miss you-Blink-182

It's all good until that douche Tom DeShlong opens his stupid mouth to "sing".
Being in debt and celebrating a lower deficit is like being on a diet and celebrating the fact you gained two pounds this week instead of five.

The “hey yeah hey hey” thing? Unfinished Sympathy is one of the best songs Massive Attack has ever made, if you ask me, so I can’t really follow you there …

people who would be men if they weren't women
That’s a very convoluted way of saying ‘hermaphrodites’.

Any John Lennon song where Yoko Ono opens her mouth.

Similarly, many Kim Larsen songs where Kim Larsen opens his mouth.

I have to agree, most songs that were awful would be great if they weren't so awful

I really feel like the 100 or so throwaway tracks by Paul McCartney would be great if they weren't so awful.

Any really good blues song that is going along just great until the artist ad-libs something like...

"Lemme play my guitar, people..."

*a few quick licks*

"Lemme play my guitarrrr, people!"
I'm looking at you, Mr. Mayer.

Personally I think that song is good, and that woman has a great voice.

I agree. I would even say it's one of the best songs of the nineties, but that one little element is what ruins it for me.

Shara Nelson has an awesome voice, that's why I wish they didn't add the other element to the song.

There's a few Rush songs that would sound better with much less synth, much more guitar. I'm thinking Hold Your Fire or Power Windows songs, mostly.

Every song on St Anger would be better if they weren't so long.

I know exactly what iMotor means.

Paranoid Android could have been one of my favourites on the album 'cept I can't stand its midsection and coda of jarring guitar-masturbation.

Distortion pedal a gogo.

Anything by Neil Young.

Seriously, I appreciate the songwriting, production - it's great, great, great stuff.

But the second he opens his mouth, I'm out.

So I can't even really say that the songs suck, at all, 'cuz they're great.

^ I feel the same about Jimi Hendrix. Not the song writing but his virtuosic guitar work. And then he opens his mouth.

And I love Dylan and Leonard Cohen! I guess there's good-bad, and bad-bad.
