Finally, I'm first to a thread with a new software announcement :-)

I'm a little scared of installing it, since I haven't read anything about it anywhere else.

But it promises improved performance... mmmm.

BEWARE!

I downloaded this from software updae and now it crashes everytime I open it. It tells me it's "updating thumbnails", then it crashes. I can't open the program at all. This is happening on both my desktop and powerbook computer (both G4s). I'm going to try and reinstall the old version from my iLife. I hope I haven't lost all my pics.

Mine was too. I discovered that inside the package all the permissions were messed up. For some reason I wasn't the owner anymore. I changed them manually, and it has worked fine since. Maybe you have the same problem?
