On my Powerbok G3, I installed OS 10 on the first partition of four, wiping out OS 9 completely (but I did keep the OS 9 apps intact on another partition.)

Last night, tried to installed my new Photoshop 7 update which got all the way through the installation process - ALMOST - until these two error boxes popped up:

1. Error creating folder 1008:9,-5000. Access denied error.

2. You do not have enough access priviliges for this installation.

Huh?

I'm the owner/only user on my machine.

Does anyone have any ideas what I'm facing and how I fix it?
Do I need to install OS 9 back on - and if so should it go onto the OS X partition or its own?

Thanks a lot.
I am really stuck here.

Thanks!
