This is just a European copy of baseball.
Get a new idea already.

British rounders and cricket both well precede baseball.

Casey Jones: New game, round-head. Cricket?
Raphael: Cricket? Nobody understands cricket! You gotta know what a crumpet is to understand cricket!

I love that movie. Somebody took a beating in that scene too.

In that case a great catch.

If anyone happens to listen to Five Live in the UK, Friday's Mayo show had a great commentary between British and American sports pundits on how America has failed to export its own sports to other nations in the same way Britain has; e.g. football, cricket, tennis etc.

personally, I love playing cricket. But it's much like baseball when watching it on tv. The only exciting thing for me, is watching my team play. I don't have any specific team to root for when I watch cricket so it's just damn boring at most times.

I have nothing against cricket, and have enjoyed playing it.
One comment tho. The catch is impressive but I would have thought that they would happen more often. That was just a case of decent positioning, and really it's not that tough to catch a ball hit like that with bare hands. I was doign that as a kid when I didn't bring my glove out at lunch.
