Yeah I would say to be wary of cases for a white MacBook. I purchased a Sony Vaio sleeve for mine and it did stain the edges of my MacBook with a faint black. Now that I've stopped using the sleeve the discoloration is starting to wear off, but it's still annoying.

if you're interested, I have the black incase sleeve, that i would be willing to sell for $45 shipped via USPS Priority Mail. i accept paypal. you would save roughly $15 after tax and shipping from the apple store. It is brand new, but there are no tags. i have good macnn marketplace and ebay references. let me know.

I like the Waterfield Design sleeves from sfbags.com. Fits my macbook perfectly. Paid $39 for it. Great customer service, too! Very friendly and fast!

one of my friends had a waterfield sleeve, and he also likes it alot. However, the basic sleeve does not have a flap to cover the entire top of the case, it does not have a shoulder strap, or even metal rings to attach a shoulder strap to. also, the waterfield case is actually heavy. it could be due to denser material used in construction, but it is noticably heavier than an incase sleeve.
my friend paid roughly $90 for his waterfield bag to be comparable in 'features' to an incase case. they are actually very expensive cases.

I like my Incase sleeve. It was the only sleeve I could find that let me carry the power adapter and a few accessories but was still small enough to fit inside another bag.
