Could apple not have put one more icon on the main screen to make it symmetrical???

Welcome to several weeks ago. With the addition of Youtube, it is in fact symmetrical.

And youtube works well on a cellphone???

If you're on a Wi-Fi network using the iPhone, yes.

If you are on EDGE using the iPhone, not so much.

It works fine on EDGE, but the movie quality is degraded even more than usual. Still watchable, but not as nice as on Wifi.
