I'm ready to die with my existing pillow. Even though it was $55 and is a Ralph Lauren, it is killing me. This is like my 5th pillow and now I'm on a quest.

If you have a great pillow that gives you a night worth of rest, please chime in and tell me where you bought it, how much was it and anything else. I'm tired of sleeping like a baby......up every two hours crying!!

I'm a side sleeper BTW

Thanks so much!!

I highly recommend a Tempur-Pedic pillow (along with a Tempur-Pedic mattress). It's a bit pricey, but I find it has helped me greatly. I have some neck issues and the Tempur-Pedic pillow supports my neck well.
Tempur-Pedic has two different types of pillows as well so you can decide which one you like best.
Any mattress store that sells Tempur-Pedic mattresses should have the pillows as well so you can try them out.

Good luck.

I am a side sleeper and had back problems from sleeping with feather pillows and using a computer all day.

I got a ton of $50-$80 pillows which didn't help much, then I got a memory foam pillow
Pillows- Official Tempur-Pedic Travel & Neck Pillows

First the classic. After 2 nights with it my back problems were gone. I went back and got the body pillow also. Gonna get more in the future as well as the mattress when I can afford it.

Couple friends of mine got imitation ones with memory foam but they were much more bouncy feeling and didn't work half as well.

The downside is the pillows are about $150 US each. Considering I use it 8 hours each day of the year though it is worth the price.

I don't think that any price is to much for something that is so important. I'm not rich by any scope of the situation but have considered spending $250 on a pillow. I would of course need one for my wife so just double that price.

I'll check out the Tempur ones. thanks!

Either you have a very flexible neck, or your boobs lay awkwardly while you sleep.

"Designer" pillows, when the designer isn't an orthopedist or physical therapist, are a Bad Idea. A side-sleeper should use a firm pillow that provides the support their neck needs, or they'll ALWAYS wind up uncomfortable. Tempur-Pedic pillows seem to provide a combination of self-customization and support that most other pillows lack.

Also, are you a "real" side sleeper or are you a "stomach sleeper with a turned head?" If your torso is twisted when you sleep, you'll need a thinner pillow than if you actually stay on your side.

I have two different tempurpedic pillows. I don't use either one anymore.

My favorite pillow has turned out to be an extra firm one from Target for $9.99. It starts to lose its firmness after about six months, but at $10 each for a pillow that feels great, it's worth it.

Having spent hundreds of $$$ on pillows over the last couple of years (back surgeries, neck issues), I truly think I found a pillow that doesn't make me wake up with a head and/or neck ache in the morning. I paid $3.99 for a "Jumbo" striped pillow from Wal Mart.

I'll tell you, it's disconcerting to have purchased a kick-@ss pillow for $3.99 when I've spent $50 on memory-foam pillows in the past.

I buy the cheapest pillow Target has to offer every 5 months or so. I tried a Tempur-Pedic, but shifting around with a pillow that weighs more than a small import car is not an option. Once my regular pillows wear out I go to Target and spend another 8 bucks for two new ones.

I've been using the same two pillows for I don't even know how long - at least five years, probably more. One is a normal down pillow, the other is an eggcrate foam. I stack them together in one pillowcase and bam, perfect pillow.

I got a tempurpedic foam-ish pillow from Target for $30 or $40. Well worth it.

I've always been a fan of the down pillows from Macys. They seem to go on sale often too. I've got two sets. Softer ones for back sleeping and medium ones for side sleeping.

I agree. I LOVE my tempur-pedic pillow. However, there is a breaking in period where you have to learn to get used it.
