I'm a Mac newbie and am wondering what would be the best way to install 10.2?

My experience from the PC world tells me that a clean install is always much better than an upgrade but w/ Macs is there a way to do a clean install off of the 10.2 discs that Apple will be selling (assuming 10.2 ain't free)?

I know the release is still a ways away but I'm anxious to see these new features in action, esp the improved quartz technology.

When i went from 10.0.x to 10.1, I installed over it at first, but it was still as slow as 10.0.x. Then I did a clean install and found that to be a lot faster and I could actually notice the speed enhancements 10.1 promised. I would assume 10.2 is the same unless the installer does something different.

I simply updated from 10.0.4 to 10.1 using the free update CD, and I had no problems. I can't compare it to a clean install of 10.1, but I did see a vast improvement over 10.0.4.
