SO when i try to run some programs, mostly games, i cant run them because i dont have os 9 installed on my computer. I tried to trouble shoot and figured out that i needed to use my 10.2 software and install disc but i couldnt do it once i had it in there. any thoughts on how i could get classic to be installed on my computer?

You need a separate OS 9 installer disk. The 10.2 install disks do not have the OS 9 system on them. FWIW, some 3D games don't run very well or at all under the Classic environment in OS X - you would need to boot in OS 9 to run them.

First of all you need a Mac with a PowerPC processor. Classic does not work on Intel-based Macs.

For newer PowerPC-Macs (those who were not capable of OS 9 booting) the Classic system came as an installer bundle on the system restore discs. Double click it to install. Older PowerPC-Macs came with a OS 9 software restore disc and you need to use those to install a OS 9 system.
