over time i have seen on ebay lots of unopened boxes of software going for a lot less than what they cost new. stuff like toast and microsoft office. my question: where do all these unopened boxes come from? the back rooms of stores? are they stolen? who would buy this stuff, stash it away and sell it later for less? i must be missing something. is this a legitimate way to get older, currently unavailable software?
