Not really sure where to put this.
I just downloaded Photoshop CS2 upgrade and need to archive it so I can re-install when needed. I am having doubts about burning 2 copies and storing at my moms place and mine. Any other ideas Sure I will be acquiring CS3 upgrade free in a couple weeks but I still want to have CS2 around just in case.

Oh I thought you meant a sub forum of Applications.

What I did when I purchased CS3 is that I backed it up to a DVD. Additionally I'll probably put the dmg files to an external disk.

You might be able to re-download it. Stuff I bought back in 2002, still have their download links on the Adobe Site. So I assume you can download it again when you need to later.
In any case I have a burned backup, plus DMG images on my desktop and laptop. Would require a pretty big disaster to get all 3.

LOL true. At least I am getting CS3 upgrade boxed in a couple of weeks. I don't have my backup drives yet. space is tight though, maybe I will dump them on my MDD at my moms. At least no one cracked a remake "we don't help people pirate."
How do you download the images from Adobes site (if that was true wouldn't people pirating it just download from there)?

When you buy through the Adobe store, you have the option of Download or Boxed version. I choose the Download version. If I go to the Downloads page every piece of Adobe/Macromedia software that I bought, back to 2002, is listed, along with the serial numbers. I've just tested it, and that old 2002 download link still works, so it is possible to re-download software you bought.

Well, you still have to activate it anyway.
I wish they'd offer a boxed AND download option... would love the instant gratification but very much like to have the box and everything.

If you've already purchased it but not downloaded the app, then log into adobe using your adobe id (or email address).
View your account
Select view order history
click on the download link the next to your order number for CS2
