Maybe we just keep the comments on topic and impersonal? As I recall a couple veteran members liked the books or the flick, so why attack our new female members for voicing the same?

umm, so what are we primarily discussing here?
the book, or the movie?

just gotta say, the movie was HOTTT. and i cried. but i still liked the book better.
i mean, if i hadn't read the book, i'd probably be obsessing over it.. and then i'd read the book to get some more information
so, if you haven't read the book, nor have you seen the movie, watch the movie first.. besides, you kinda know whats about to happen <3 .

I totally agree with you, i was really annoyed when I saw jacob infront of charlie's house the first day Bella got to Forks, when in the book they aren't suppose to meet until Bella goes to the beach yadda yadda yadda, i think i didn't enjoy the movie that much because of that, me stupidly analyzing everything!!!
but i really loved the movie anyways ;D

I know that! but it is difficult when you already know the story and then while watching the movie u expect that something will happen and it doesnt.
or when that something happens in the begining and not in the middle as it says in the book. its kinda more difficult to follow ;P
thats why i want to watch it again (:

I know that happens. On all Harry Potter movies they change critical parts to the story. But oh well, they are still good.

I never said it wasn't good, the movies just end up being a summary of the book, the essence of the book kinda, you know?
which is good (:
I can't really imagine a movie with all the exact details that the book includes it would last more than 2 hours! that would suck xD

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I mentioned to some friends last night, it's a whole lot of trouble to put a man through this movie for not even some nipple.

That won't work. These are emo vampires we're dealing with, use two wiimotes to form a crucifix instead.

Pooka relax. Just do a Google video search for "Alyssa Milano embrace of the vampire" and make sure you have SafeSearch turned off. All will be better... I promise.

Watch what you say about Alyssa Milano, ok? Unlike may others she has put time and effort to make the world a better place for children. (No sarcasm there).

She is not trying to kill herself. pooka said "kill me" and so she did. Very condescending of her, given the circumstances.

That's why I said he and not she. I was referring to pooka.
