when not in use, just looks like a map of the world. when you type a website into your browser, the widget gets the domain, traceroutes to it, and then locates all the ips geographically, and plots them on the map, and draws a line between them. final result is a map of where your data travelled across the globe, damn cool. just a thought.

I've seen a Windows application do just that. A widget would really be cool, although due to the complexity I strongly doubt we'll see one in the near future.
