Why do companies insist on saying "OS X compatible" versions are "ready shortly", when in reality they are months/years/decades away? ESPN went as far as to post a picture of what I firmly believe is definitely a "fake dock" teaser...

Oh well.

What is this ESPN Motion, precious?

"ESPN.com has made its video player ESPN Motion available to Mac users, the Web site announced on Monday. Sports fans can add or subtract video clips to or from Motion's playlist and watch streaming sports highlights in any order they want. The video can be enlarged or paused during playback, with a control available for the audio level. You don't need to download and install any software to make Motion work, although ESPN.com does recommend viewing clips in Safari, Netscape, Mozille or Firefox -- Internet Explorer only offers limited compatibility. The Flash 6 plug-in is required, however."

I just went to their site and they said that the OSX version is not yet ready!

Do you have a URL for the download?

Hmmm. Who was using "Motion" first, Apple or ESPN?

Works fine on my machine. You do not need to download anything.

Go to: http://espn.go.com/ and on the right side you will see it.

I first thought this applies to all OSes, but that's only for OS X.

Duh, why did I think they'd offer only limited compatibility of IE for PCs. On a second thought, I just would make sense. IE stinks...
