Intelligence Realm has apps for PPC 10.3 or later, and Intel 10.4 or later, project is at Artificial Intelligence System. Team MacNN has three members so far, we would love for more of you to join.

The project is run by a private company, their statement about use of the results is: ...whatever is developed with public support will be released into the public, whatever is developed with private support may or may not be released to the public, depending if the information is critical to our advancement. If you are uncomfortable with this policy you may not want to join.

AI is a pretty exciting or scary field depending on your pov, has everyone seen Terminator Salvation yet?

Now what might a test AI do on one's system to verify it can adapt and learn? Attempt to crack the local passwords and security? Nah, it couldn't be that.

As bad as that might be, I'd be more afraid of the AI turning on Team MacNN cruncher's webcams. Some of us have been putting too much time into tending our farms and not enough time tending ourselves!

I'm a little surprised the built-in lens cap idea dropped by the wayside.

I remember Steve fondly showing it off during his iSight introduction.

Yes I love that feature of my iSight. The built in iSights are convenient but being somewhat security paranoid I'd probably cover it when not in use.
