Is anyone having problem with the skimming feature in iMovie '08 ? My understanding is that once you've imported clips, as you move your cursor over the clips, they are supposed to begin to play in both the thumbnail and the preview window. Nothing happens when I move my cursor over the clips. What gives?

Try deleting the .plist for iMovie and restarting the application this should restore it to factory settings. Then try importing a movie into iMovie and see if you get the same problem.
