I spotted this'n thru the bushes, so I had a cigarette and an espresso and took a pic or three of it. It has a 351ci V12 which produces 540hp @7250 rpm, and can reach 196 mph.
name it by 5pm EST and you will win (1) visit from WD in an upcoming thread that you create.

Ford Model 730 Fordor Deluxe. 1934.
I have to admit, I had to do a bit of research.
I find it weird that americans always refer to the model year. It's something we don't really do. Saying thing like a '66 or '67 Cadillac which both look exactly the same is weird. We normally only mention the year when talking about older models witht the same name.

While it would be dangerous for any door to pop open at speed, I seriously doubt that a 1967-vintage car is airtight enough to generate enough blowby wind to do much more than blast the door off. It would scare the crap out of anyone in the car, true, but it wouldn't pull them out.

A friend had a rear door open on his '67. It nearly ripped the door off. Since cars are not pressurized like planes, you cannot be "sucked out". You would have to be travelling at 400 mph for that to even start to happen.
It's no different than having the window open. A very BIG window.
Today's cars with suicide doors are all interlocked so either the front door has to be open or the car has to be stopped to open the rear door (or both). They are by no means unsafe.
They are, however, MUCH easier to get into and out of because the natural seating position lends itself to easier egress and ingress with a rear hinged door.

this thread became a classic cars thread, and it's not a very good disguise (beyond the beautiful 612 Scaglietti at the top of the page)
I wish I had that thinkpad virus recovery button right now, I'd press it and be able to rethink this thread.
just kidding i guess
oh, and that car above me is pretty damned ugly

You have no sense of classic cars, no taste concerning them - period (ever faced a 504 in person?).

I´ve driven one some years ago but unfortunately ditched it. Now a 504 that is parked in my street reminds me almost every evening. Question answered?
