Title says it all.

Not completely accurate, but still a fitting tribute.

I was planning on reattaching this soon, as it was.

Because I have it on DVD.

Really.

It sucks that the movie ends shortly after he returns to Apple. They should make a sequel.

I was thinking last night that with Job's passing and the popularity of Apple, another on is likely in the cards.

I always imagine how the meeting between Steve and Microsoft actually went down.

There is no doubt in my mind Steve turned his reality distortion field on the MS guys full force, he'll he had to of. I mean, if you were MS at the time, would you have thrown a bone to the Apple of the day who was spinning down the crapper at light spee?

Oh to have been a fly on the wall

To get the DoJ off my ass? Yes. Besides, I'm fairly sure Apple was recognized by Microsoft as an investment opportunity above all else - and they did make money.

It's been many years since I watched the movie. I'm sure various elements would be even more laughable now than they were back then, but it was still quite entertaining. I didn't even know it went up to SJ's return.

As for Microsoft's investment in Apple, everyone here knows the real reason behind it right?

I've never seen it, but if I never hear the bit about "I didn't steal from you, we both stole from Apple," it'll be too soon.

lpk, are you referring to this infamous Bill Gates quotation? "Well, Steve, I think there's more than one way of looking at it. I think it's more like we both had this rich neighbor named Xerox and I broke into his house to steal the TV set and found out that you had already stolen it."

I guess so. It was mentioned in Pirates, though. Of course, Apple didn't steal anything, as Xerox licensed their tech for reduced price shares in Apple before Apple's IPO, which made Xerox million of dollars.
