Hi all, I have a beige G3 desktop that I'm trying to sell. That said, here's what's in it:

G3 300
128M RAM
20G 7200 RPM drive
8x DVD (pulled from a G4 500)
floppy
TV Tuner
USB2.0/Firewire card
Standard ADB keyboard and mouse
Adesso Tru Form 3D keyboard http://www.gogocity.com/product_deta..._id=KA33AEK606
Alps glide point ADB touchpad
External 6x SCSI CD-RW
Applevision 17" Monitor
Complete set of cables.

Asking $200 + Shipping

OK, thats what I have. What do I want? Well, Right now, I want to know if I'm asking too much, if I should be asking more? What is it worth? Am I out of my mind?
Thanks,
Nick

I'd say more around $175 shipped range...G3s typically don't sell all too well, except for people who want basic file servers

Justin216,
Yeah, I thought about that, but the the last Applevision 17" that I shiped cost like $45. I'm almost tempted to just keep the monitor and sell the box for, what, $125?

here in the Bay Area, beige G3s are basically worthless -- every other day people are selling them on craigslist for about $50.
On the other hand, in areas of the country without such an active craigslist, I'd say that $125 should be about right.

I have 5 of these things and I will be lucky to get $50 for each. Depends on where you sell.

Yeah $200 is kind of high. The problem like you say is the shipping costs. You'd be better off trying to sell this locally.
